CBA offers critique of Bill C-10 to Parliamentary committee

The Canadian Bar Association has made submissions expressing serious concerns about Bill C-10, Safe Streets and Communities Act.

This CBA critique of Bill C-10, which is nearly 100-pages, was a joint submission by the National Criminal Justice Section, the National Immigration Law Section and the National Civil Litigation Law Section.

I want to thank all members of the National Immigration Law Section who assisted in providing analysis and comment on various portions of these Submission, in particular Mario Bellissimo, Gordon Maynard, Dennis McCrea, Deanna Okun-Nachoff, and Kyle Hyndman.  As well, a thank you to Tamra Thomson, our Law Reform Liaison, who helped coordinate our input on these submissions.
