Can You Really Stop a Deportation at Federal Court?

Posted by admin - Bellissimo Law Group PC

I am often asked this question and the answer is yes.

Of course not all deportations can be stopped and handling these cases requires a great deal of skill and expertise as well as the need for a good bed side manner for people going through the process. The likelihood of success depends upon the facts of the case, how the law applies to those facts and a lot of hard work.

There are no magic solutions or guaranteed results!

When one reaches this stage of the process they must be prepared for the worst, ready to leave really and then hope there is lawful reason to attempt to stop the removal.

So the answer is yes but with a dose of reality mixed in that deportations go forward in many cases and unfortunately in some cases, where I do not think they should.

Why do I handle these cases?

I enjoy the challenge, the tight deadlines and the possibility of really making a difference in someone’s life. So if you are facing removal and are prepared for the worst see a lawyer who specializes in these matters and see if it is worth pursuing a remedy at Federal Court.
